In our second chemotherapy episode, we will explore some commonly used cytotoxic therapies in gynecologic oncology. Specifically, we will discuss in detail mechanisms of action, side effects, and other considerations of individual cytotoxic agents used in the treatment of uterine cancers.

In our first chemotherapy episode, we will explore the fundamental principles of tumor growth and chemotherapy. We will discuss tumor growth kinetics, theory behind combination chemotherapy and dosing cycles, pharmacokinetics, how to calculate doses for certain agents, and how to determine whether a therapy regimen is effective for a patient.
Uterine Cancer: Part 4
In our fourth episode on uterine cancer, we discuss uterine carcinosarcoma as the last subtype of endometrial cancer. We then discuss uterine sarcomas, including nuances of staging and treatment of different subtypes of uterine sarcoma in both the up-front and recurrent setting.

This is the third episode in a four-part series on uterine cancer. In this episode, we discuss the diagnosis and treatment of patients with advanced and recurrent endometrial cancer.
